Sentara

Sentara Meadowview Terrace Nursing Home Addition

The Sentara Meadowview Terrace Nursing home and Physical Therapy building addition was an 11,200 sq ft add on to the existing facility. The addition gives each resident approximately 622 sq ft of personal living space and includes a spa room, laundry facility, large self-service kitchen and comfortable living spaces. Vannoy came up with a creative framing technique to speed up the drywall and fire protection installation saving on cost and finishing over 3 months ahead of the original schedule.

Ingles

Ingles Markets

Throughout our longstanding relationship with Ingles, we have constructed 56 new store locations and remodeled 33 locations. The projects cover the geographic footprint served by Ingles including Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Each stores provides unique features to the market served and ranges in size from 60,000 sf to 85,000 sf. Many projects include a gas station convenience store component and several car wash facilities. Vannoy’s ability to begin construction while design finalization occurred allowed for a reduced overall timeline and a more coordinated fixtures and start-up process.

WCU

WCU Health and Gerontology Building

This state-of-the-art facility is the first building on the new Western Carolina University – Millennium Campus located adjacent to the existing university. This facility contains all Health and Human Science curriculum studies offered by WCU. The 160,000 sf facility features a four-floor layout which contains well-equipped laboratories, offices for many department heads and staff, along with a separate dean’s suite. The location of office and administrative areas allow the faculty and staff to maintain a close connection to the student’s needs. The first floor includes a clinic where local residents can receive medical assistance. The clinic includes a hydrotherapy pool for patients to regain strength and agility to continue their active lives. The building achieved LEED Gold certification.

New Entrance

Mission Health Heart Center Lobby

This project for Mission Health involved an addition to the existing Heart Center to serve as the new main entrance, with the impending bed tower project. Work also included renovations to the interior at the tie-in location. By adding the new main entrance with a lobby, Mission was able to create additional seating and give the visitors breathtaking mountain views to enjoy during their visits. The lobby contains high-end finishes within an open floor plan.
