Current Openings

Safety Manager

The candidate will coordinate activities that ensure all OSHA-related safety guidelines, policies and programs are being met by company personnel throughout the western region divisions of Vannoy Construction. The person should have extensive knowledge of compliance standards related to such work. Other responsibilities include tracking required certifications, qualifications, and licenses, and assisting with developing a curriculum and training for employees relevant to their scope of work. This position also consists of traveling to job sites to conduct site evaluations in order to assess safety program elements and individual safety performance. The chosen individual will interact directly with project managers, superintendents, foremen, operators, and laborers, reporting to the division VP.

Payroll Administrator

The position will lead Vannoy’s payroll functions to ensure our payroll expenses and taxes are paid correctly and on time. The ideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with experience in payroll administration and deep knowledge of payroll regulations. Grading Superintendents for Road & Sitework

Will manage a 15-30 person crew. Will be responsible for all subs, inspectors, and site operations. Will conduct site safety meetings and ensure all codes, procedures, and policies are enforced. Must be experienced with running all major heavy and fine-grade equipment.

Superintendents

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience with healthcare or commercial projects, ranging from $2.5M to $50M. Healthcare and Education project experience is required.

Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience with healthcare or commercial projects, ranging from $2.5M to $50M. Healthcare and Education project experienced required.

Assistant Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience with construction projects, ranging from $1M to $50M.

Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience with healthcare or commercial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Project Engineers / Assistant Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience with construction projects, ranging from $1M to $50M. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Superintendents

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience with healthcare or commercial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience with healthcare, higher education, or commercial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Project Engineer / Assistant Superintendent

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience with construction projects, ranging from $1M to $50M. Education experience is preferred. The position will be working remotely on the Liberty University Campus in Lynchburg, VA.

Project Engineers / Assistant Project Managers

Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience.  Healthcare experience is preferred.

Superintendents

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience with healthcare, higher education, or commercial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M.

Office/Administrative Assistant

The candidate will be responsible for office secretarial duties and assist with accounts payable duties. Proficiency in word and excel are required. Commercial Construction experience is a plus but not required.

Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of seven years of experience with healthcare, education, and/or commercial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M.

Assistant Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience with healthcare, education, and/or commercial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Superintendents

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience with healthcare, education, and/or commercial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Precon Managers / Estimators

Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience with healthcare, education, and/or commercial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M.

Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of ten years of experience with commercial or industrial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M.

Assistant Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience with projects, ranging from $1M to $50M. Commercial, industrial, or retail experience is preferred.

Superintendents

Candidates should have a minimum of five-plus years of commercial, industrial, or retail experience. This position is staffed out of Anderson, SC, but travel is required.

Assistant Project Managers

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience with commercial projects, ranging from $1M to $50M.
