Freedom House Southend Campus was a complete renovation of a 12,500 sf industrial mill built in 1945. Located between South Boulevard and South Tryon Street, the campus features a 400 seat auditorium, several kid and student classrooms, mezzanine area, as well as a cafe/coffee bar, and bookstore. Scope also included a completely new mechanical, electrical, plumbing infrastructure.
A fast-tracked project consisting of six deliverable packages. Vannoy Construction provided preconstruction and construction services for the new single-story wood-framed skilled nursing facility. The project included demolition of an existing 50,000 sf facility and construction of a new, 64,000 sf facility. While constructing the new facility, Vannoy Construction raised the site 2′-0″, modified the existing roadways and maintained access to the adjacent, working, nursing home. Vannoy Construction was instrumental in assisting ownership with budgeting and selection including HVAC systems, sanitary sewer, and road construction. The project finished on schedule and within budget.
Multi-phased renovation of twelve floors of Class A Office space within existing high rise building. Scope of work included selective demolition of existing offices, flooring, ceilings, and MEP systems allowing for an open floor plan introducing natural light in to the space. Floor to ceiling glass was installed on the front wall of each office and conference room. New flooring and paint throughout. The existing lighting system was updated with an energy saving Lutron Occupancy system. Vannoy Construction worked closely with the client, furniture vendor, IT vendor, and AV vendor on the front end of the project to develop a detailed phased construction schedule to ensure all parties involved could meet the aggressive schedule.
The Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice Upfit project was a 50,000 sf, three-floor restack completed in downtown Charlotte, NC. Two floors were completely demolished and rebuilt including new conference rooms, file rooms, cafe’ and catering kitchen, interior offices and administrative spaces. The project also included new, high-end finishes in the elevator lobbies, two-story main lobby and reception area, refinishing of existing ornamental staircase as well as the renovation of the existing bathrooms. The third floor was completed in phases while the tenant continued to occupy the floor.
