Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital

The new Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital is sandwiched on a tight site between the existing Ortho Hospital and OrthoCarolina. Vannoy provided preconstruction and construction services for the new 3-story, 90,000 sf addition, as well as the 12,000 sf renovation. The facility includes 32 Patient Rooms, state-of-the-art Operating Rooms, Central Processing Department, PACU, Imaging Department, an expansion of their existing Central Energy Plant, Connector Bridge, and Educational Classrooms. Construction began late in 2015 on this 7-phased project, all of which were managed to limit the impact on hospital operations. WCU Brown Hall

The WCU Brown Hall Renovation and Addition was a NC State Construction Management at Risk project. Brown Hall was composed of over 38,000 sf of renovation and 26,000 sf of addition and also included revamping WCU’s central energy plant. BREMCO - Blue Ridge Energy

BREMCO Expansion

The BREMCO project in Lenior included construction of four different "buildings" for the Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation. These "buildings" include a new 14,500 sf District Office Administration Building, a new 12,000 sf Energies Building, a 25,000 sf pre-engineered Warehouse, a 5,300 sf storage and wash bay building, as well as a 621 sf fuel island, pole yard, and racks. The project is directly adjacent to the existing BREMCO Corporate offices, which today operates under the name Blue Ridge Energy.

Samaritans Purse Warehouse

The Samaritan’s Purse Warehouse, located on 21 acres in North Wilkesboro, included 180,000 sf tilt-up warehouse with an additional 20,000 sf of two-story office space located on the front of the building. 18 bays are located at the back of the warehouse which are used to load medical equipment onto trucks to be taken to ports and shipped all over the world.
