Ingles Cold Storage Facility

Ingles Cold Storage Facility

As an extension of a decades long relationship with the Ingles family, our firm was selected to build Ingles’ new Cold Storage Distribution Center. The project, located on a 46-acre site in Western Buncombe County, was delivered on a fast-track schedule and represented the single largest investment in the history of the Ingles Company. The facility consists of 840,000 sf of cooler and freezing space with temperatures ranging from 55° to -20°, a 20,000 sf ice facility which produces 75 tons of ice per day, and a three-story, 45,000 sf Class “A” office building. The facility also contains a refrigeration engine room that houses a cutting-edge, 2700- ton, ammonia refrigeration system. The distribution center’s climate controlled space includes over 20,000 product storage rack positions, 11 banana ripening rooms, a cheese slicing and packaging facility, and 84 dock stations with full vertical levers. Also included with the project was a 4-story, custom designed pick module system.

The site is a redevelopment of Andrex Brownfields site. New Fricks control system for the entire refrigeration system and Quell Fire Protection System, fire pump and controller. Galvanized pipe and storage racks. Blowing Rock Country Club

Blowing Rock Country Club Clubhouse

In 2007, our team completed an addition to the Blowing Rock Country Club Clubhouse, the dining area and ballroom, and renovations to additional areas on the property. The clubhouse consists of five separate rooms that can be used independently or coupled for larger events. The expansive Ballroom space embodies rich history and mountain elegance. Four beautiful wrought iron chandeliers hang above the hardwood floors and large windows stretch across the back wall offering a sweeping view of the golf course. An over-sized stone fireplace gives the room a warm, inviting feel and provides the perfect backdrop for photos.  The project also included renovations to the Terrace Room, Bar, Sunroom, the Laurel Room, and the Lakehouse.

Label House

Label House

Once located in the heart of Charlotte’s NC Music Factory, Label House represented the long-desired “Mega Club” that concentrates on major recording artists and celebrities along with exquisite services, such as dining, event, and meeting space. The 16,000 sf multi-million dollar entertainment facility includes another 3,500-square-feet of outdoor patio with a one of a kind pool to entertain the VIP guests.

The project consisted of remediating the old Southern Asbestos Manufacturing plant and completely modifying the existing structure to maintain the historic significance yet make possible a state-of-art entertainment and gathering space. The project was completed in six months.
