Charleston Amish Furniture

Charleston Amish Furniture Showroom

The once retail furniture store turned storage building has been completely renovated to house a new beautiful furniture showroom and warehouse. The team worked together to create a completely new exterior façade and site layout that brings new life to West Ashley. This adaptive re-use required extensive exterior and interior demo, new finishes and of course, a first-class led lighting package to showcase their beautiful furniture and newly refurbished polished concrete floors.

UNCA - Delany Hall

UNC Asheville Delaney Hall

The UNC Asheville Delaney Hall (formerly Carmichael Hall) project consisted of 27,663 sf of heavy renovations of an existing 1966 building. The programming of the building remained Management and Accountancy and Psychology. Vannoy was selected as Construction Manager at Risk and preconstruction efforts consisted of extensive research into the requirements of the building to be reinvigorated and better connect with the campus. Based on a limited budget from the University, Vannoy and the design team worked to help the client budget and prioritize the project scope, helping to categorize items between needs, wants, and “wish list” with assigned dollar values and time frames.

UNCA - Owen Hall Renovation and Addition

UNC Asheville Owen Hall Addition & Renovations

The UNC Asheville Owen Hall project consisted of a 5,000 sf addition and 56,200 sf of heavy renovations to the existing 1985 building. The programming of the building remained Art History and Art Studios (3D Printing, Photography, Paint, Ceramics, Sculpture, Metalworks, etc.). The heart of the revised floorplan is a new three-story atrium entrance with a skylight that adds substantial daylight throughout the facility and features galleries on each level. A relocated kiln yard and new sculpture park dynamically change the relationship between this building and its surroundings and create a new sense of place.
