The project consisted of the construction of a new 106,500 sf, Grades 3-8 school with 42 classrooms, media center, gym, cafeteria, kitchen, parking for ~52 employees, and space for 650 students. The building was constructed on property owned by the school system, adjacent to the current Mitchell High School.
The Galen College of Nursing project consisted of a 17,000 sf high-end interior renovation in downtown Asheville, NC. The Nursing School is equipped with state-of-the-art clinical labs to accurately simulate hospital conditions and facilitate an interactive learning environment. The new space also includes offices, classrooms, study rooms and a student break room.
The project consists of the construction of three structures equaling a total of approximately 250,000 sf to replace the Scott and Walker Residence Halls. This project is phased to allow for demolition of Scott and Walker (9 story high rises), relocation of utilities, and construction of the planned buildings.
