BREMCO Expansion

The BREMCO project in Lenior included construction of four different “buildings” for the Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation. These “buildings” include a new 14,500 sf District Office Administration Building, a new 12,000 sf Energies Building, a 25,000 sf pre-engineered Warehouse, a 5,300 sf storage and wash bay building, as well as a 621 sf fuel island, pole yard, and racks. The project is directly adjacent to the existing BREMCO Corporate offices, which today operates under the name Blue Ridge Energy.

Multi-phased renovation of twelve floors of Class A Office space within existing high rise building. Scope of work included selective demolition of existing offices, flooring, ceilings, and MEP systems allowing for an open floor plan introducing natural light in to the space. Floor to ceiling glass was installed on the front wall of each office and conference room. New flooring and paint throughout. The existing lighting system was updated with an energy saving Lutron Occupancy system. Vannoy Construction worked closely with the client, furniture vendor, IT vendor, and AV vendor on the front end of the project to develop a detailed phased construction schedule to ensure all parties involved could meet the aggressive schedule.

The Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice Upfit project was a 50,000 sf, three-floor restack completed in downtown Charlotte, NC. Two floors were completely demolished and rebuilt including new conference rooms, file rooms, cafe’ and catering kitchen, interior offices and administrative spaces. The project also included new, high-end finishes in the elevator lobbies, two-story main lobby and reception area, refinishing of existing ornamental staircase as well as the renovation of the existing bathrooms. The third floor was completed in phases while the tenant continued to occupy the floor.

Cone Health – Center for Innovation

Cone Health’s Center for Innovation was a renovation of 22,000 sf of corporate office space. This new space provides Cone Health with an active learning environment equip 2 large classrooms, open social learning areas, individual and group cube and break out areas as well as glass front offices.
