Sentara Village Nursing Center

A fast-tracked project consisting of six deliverable packages. Vannoy Construction provided preconstruction and construction services for the new single-story wood-framed skilled nursing facility. The project included demolition of an existing 50,000 sf facility and construction of a new, 64,000 sf facility. While constructing the new facility, Vannoy Construction raised the site 2'-0", modified the existing roadways and maintained access to the adjacent, working, nursing home. Vannoy Construction was instrumental in assisting ownership with budgeting and selection including HVAC systems, sanitary sewer, and road construction.  The project finished on schedule and within budget.

The White Labs Asheville project was a Construction Management at Risk project that combined a complete interior demolition and historic renovation of an existing two-story, 27,000 sf historical building with a new  6,200 sf two-story addition. The majority of the existing first-floor space was converted to a large class 100,000 sf (IS0 8) Clean Room for Yeast Production, Yeast Concentration and Bacteria/Micro Labs. The existing second floor was converted to offices and cold storage and materials management. Hilton Garden Inn - Asheville

Hilton Garden Inn – Asheville

Located on the same city block as the new Asheville City Centre, the new 101,00 sf Hilton Garden Inn, features 140 rooms throughout six stories. As the new hotel is part of the large Asheville City Centre project, construction is logistically challenging as all three buildings, the Hilton Garden Inn, BB&T Building, and Parking Deck, are being constructed simultaneously. It was critical to maintain a safe working environment and to control the challenges of delivering a quality building to separate clients.
